Call for Abstracts - Submit by April 1
Event Date: May 22, 2025

GMWEA invites the submission of abstracts for professional presentations at its Spring Meeting. The Spring Meeting provides an opportunity for professional exchange of information with a focus on educating all members of Vermont’s water industry. The Spring Meeting includes three educational tracks:

  • Stormwater and Water Resource Management
  • Wastewater Collection and Treatment
  • Drinking Water Treatment and Distribution
Although not a pre-requisite for abstract acceptance, eligibility for Training Contact Hours (TCH) for Public Water System Operators and Wastewater Treatment Facility Operators is valuable to attendees. To maximize the eligibility for consideration the abstract submittal should contain enough detail on the technical or educational areas which will contribute to enhancing the attendees understanding. Examples of technical and educational topics include but are not limited to regulatory updates, public health, management and finance of public utilities, treatment, distribution, conveyance, source protection, O&M, worksite safety, hydraulics, and pumping, etc.
